i kompleksy leśne, zapewniające mieszkańcom przestrzeń do rekreacji i wypoczynku, spotkań i kultury - ogród Różanka, amfiteatr w Parku Kasprowicza, spacerowe aleje Jasnych Błoni, Las Arkoński, sąsiadujące z osiedlami Prawobrzeża fragmenty Puszczy Bukowej oraz Puszczy Wkrzańskiej w dzielnicy Północ.
Rozwijając elektromobilność miasto rozbudowuje sieć punktów ładowania pojazdów elektrycznych, komunikacja miejska korzysta z autobusów o napędzie hybrydowym.
Powstają nowe ścieżki rowerowe oraz kolejne punkty bezobsługowej wypożyczalni roweru miejskiego.
Ważnym elementem ekologicznego funkcjonowania Szczecina jest oczyszczalnia ścieków na Pomorzanach oraz spalarnia odpadów EcoGenerator.

Large areas of the city are parks and forest complexes, providing residents with space for recreation and leisure, meetings and culture - the Rose garden “Różanka”, the amphitheatre in the Kasprowicz Park, the pedestrian avenues of Jasne Błonia, the Arkonian Forest, fragments of the Bukowa Primeval Forest and the Wkrzańska Primeval Forest in the Północ district adjacent to the Prawobrzeże housing estates.
By developing electromobility, the city is expanding its network of electric vehicle charging points and public transport uses hybrid buses.
New bicycle paths and additional points of unmanned city bike rental are being created.
An important element of the ecological functioning of Szczecin is the sewage treatment plant in Pomorzany and the EcoGenerator waste incineration plant.

Bedeutende Bereiche der Stadt sind Parks und Waldkomplexe, die den Einwohnern Raum für Freizeit und Erholung, Begegnungen und Kultur bieten - der Rosengarten (Różanka), das Amphitheater im Kasprowicz-Park, die Fußgängeralleen von Jasne Błonia, der Arkona-Wald, Fragmente der Buchheide (Puszcza Bukowa), die an die Wohnsiedlungen des rechten Ufers grenzen, und der Ueckermünder Heide (Puszcza Wkrzańska) im Bezirk Nord.
Beim Ausbau der Elektromobilität baut die Stadt das Netz der Ladestationen für Elektrofahrzeuge aus, der öffentliche Nahverkehr nutzt Hybridbusse.
Es werden neue Radwege und weitere wartungsfreie städtische Fahrradverleihstationen gebaut.
Ein wichtiges Element für das ökologische Funktionieren der Stadt Stettin ist die Kläranlage in Pomorzany und die Müllverbrennungsanlage EcoGenerator.
